1. Who we are
Smarticulous Company (SL) Limited operates Smarticulous Store, Smart Solutions and Smart Media in Sierra Leone. This policy describes personal information handled through our corporate website and when you contact us about products, installations, media bookings or partnerships. Our corporate website does not itself operate a payment checkout.
2. Information you provide
Depending on your enquiry or transaction, we may receive your name, email address, telephone number, delivery or service location, order or invoice information, requested services, event date, project details and correspondence. Media clients may provide images, recordings, event briefs and approved materials. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, identity documents or sensitive medical information through the public contact form.
3. Why we use information
We use relevant information to answer enquiries, prepare quotations, confirm orders and appointments, coordinate local deliveries, perform installations or media productions, provide customer support, investigate issues, handle returns where applicable, maintain business records and protect against misuse. Marketing communications should be sent only where permitted and with an appropriate choice to stop receiving them.
4. Website forms and email
Contact form submissions are processed using Cloudflare Pages Functions and Resend and sent to [email protected]. The form may collect name, email, phone, location, service selected and message. Your submission is not a confirmed order or booking. Resend and email systems may process the information needed to transmit your message.
5. Website infrastructure and external services
Cloudflare hosts and helps secure the site and may process technical request data such as IP addresses, browser information and security events. Embedded Google Maps, Facebook links and the separate Shopify-powered store can involve those services’ own data practices, notices and cookies. Consult the relevant third-party policies when using their platforms. We do not claim that all third-party cookies or analytics are enabled on this website.
6. Photography, client work and media releases
Smart Media may create photographs and video footage as part of commissioned services. Project materials are used, stored, delivered and published according to client agreements and applicable permissions. Portfolio use of identifiable client work requires appropriate permission; a booking does not automatically grant unlimited promotional use.
7. Access, sharing and security
Access is limited to personnel and service providers who reasonably need information to perform the relevant work. We may share necessary details with delivery partners, payment providers, installation teams or production collaborators where required for the agreed service. We take reasonable protective measures but cannot promise that internet transmission or storage is completely risk free.
8. Retention and your requests
Information is kept for as long as reasonably needed for the service, follow-up, recordkeeping, dispute handling or applicable legal requirements, then deleted or de-identified where appropriate. You may contact us to request access, correction, deletion or clarification about information concerning you, subject to legitimate recordkeeping obligations.
9. Children and changes
The corporate website is intended for general business enquiries, not knowingly directed at children. Parents or guardians should make bookings involving minors. We may update this policy when our website, operations or service providers change; the updated version will appear on this page.
